As many friends and followers know, www.altumviditur.com was the original page of altum viditur's travel and leisure tips and trips. It has an FB fan page (https://www.facebook.com/altumviditur) too. I got lucky to have 600+ page likes before. But it is slowly losing its followers.
Unfortunately, www.altumviditur.com expired. I have purchased hosting from a different supplier as early as I have received notice of its expiration. But we had to wait for 60 days clearing to buy back a domain name. I kept on contacting my new host and old admin to coordinate this only to find out that after two months of waiting, my domain name was bought by another hosting site.
I felt bad because www.altumviditur.com had its own followers, advertisers and links which are hard to bring back after months of inactivity, most especially the hundreds of articles already posted in there, from Pagudpud to Davao del Sur, and a whole bunch of tips and trips about Singapore and Thailand. What a loss.
I will say that it was my webhost's negligence because they did not secure my domain name even if I have had it for years. Of course I would renew my domain name hosting every time, otherwise, this hassle would happen. And it did.
I bought my hosting package for two years on November 10, 2012. My domain name expired on January 15, 2013. My old domain name is being sold by www.namesilo.com but I don't know if I still want to buy it back because my old hosting admin is also not sure if they still have my files. So I am wasting the two-year package I purchased from www.justhost.com because even if I could just use a new domain name, I do not have the files to upload. And it's not easy to put up and customize a new website. What a bummer.
So I have decided to go back to basics and use this very reliable and free blogger platform so I can post my latest adventures again.
I hope to get my followers back too. They are the reason why I take photographs and write about my adventures. Because I want to share to them the experience.
