When Camsur Watersports Complex (CWC) was more or less a year old, we got excited and flew from Manila to Naga (around 380 KM). Naga is 17 KM away from Pili, Camarines Sur, where CWC is located.

It was, at that time the best wakeboarding facility in the world! (According to an Australian Magazine) And the only one in the Philippines that has a 6-point cable system.

A few months later, we went to Lago de Oro, in Calatagan, Batangas just around 130 KM away from Manila. Imagine chopping your travel by half to be able to go to a wakeboard park!

But enough about that, now, there is a new place nearer to sate your wakeboard fix.

Republ1c Wakepark in Nuvali, is just 40 KM outside Manila in Sta. Rosa Laguna. Now that's chopping your travel distance by three! They officially opened in June 2012 and we visited on January 2013. Hah! They are all coming near to Manila. What's next?

Anyway, here are some of our pictures at the Beginner's Lake (i forgot what it was officially called. Boo!).

This was me trying it in the Republ1c

That's the person ahead of me, you can see that there's another set of people
waiting for their turn at the other end of the line

This is me able to stand up the first tryime, right off the dock

My friends waiting for their turn

Us!

well, I enjoyed it, so how about another turn?

You can find other details about Republ1c Wakepark here and in their official website.

I would love to hear from you!
